About the Event

Ever wondered which climate solutions will work best? SC Citizens' Climate Lobby chapters invite you to explore, in real time, the system-wide global solutions to climate change & inequity.

You are invited to an online and highly interactive “En-ROADS Climate Simulator Workshop” led by Drew Jones, the co-founder and co-director of Climate Interactive, with introductory remarks from former South Carolina Congressman Bob Inglis.

This fascinating virtual workshop will take place on Zoom on June 22, 2021, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Eastern. The program is free, but registration is required. Registration information can be found below.

En-ROADS, created with MIT Sloan, allows participants to explore, in real time, how global solutions to climate change and inequity, including renewable energy, oil policy, carbon removal, energy efficiency, reforestation, electric cars, carbon pricing and other policies really impact the fight to cut global carbon emissions.

The user-friendly simulator has been showcased in settings ranging from the U.S. Congress to the U.N. Secretary-General’s climate team to HSBC bank. Spanning the globe, it has been led by 831 facilitators in 72 countries.

A Zoom link will be sent to you after registration. We hope you can join us!
