Gnome Cafe is an entirely vegan restaurant located on the Westside of downtown Charleston. Serving plant-based breakfast, lunch, and baked goods Tuesday through Saturday, Gnome attracts the hardcore herbivores and curious carnivores alike. 

    By serving only vegan meals, Gnome significantly reduces their environmental impact -- eating a plant-based diet is one of the most effective ways to take climate action on an individual level, and good vegan restaurants enable more Charlestonians to eat more plant-based meals. In addition to quality food, they serve socially responsible coffee from Stumptown Roasters, and support local Charleston vendors by selling their chips and drinks. 

    Through their subscription to Compost Now, Gnome reduces their food waste by composting, and provides compostable, eco-friendly to-go containers. By using this service, they help to divert waste from landfills, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve soil quality, and support climate action in the Lowcountry.
